Yesterday was the debut of the much anticipated beginning of the new SEC Network. Choices were available and decisions were made. Do we stay here and watch the SEC with Paul Finebaum or go to Hawaii? Touch and go, but Hawaii won out. We travelled to the Sandwich Isles yesterday to fulfill a mission of Edith Hicks (Linda's mother). She had visited 49 states and needed one more. We landed in Maui and checked that box. A long day, but a good trip. Every thing went very smoothly, except....
I was reading a book on Linda's IPad on the flight from Atlanta to LA. When we got to LAX and were waiting for our connecting flight to Maui, I realized that I had left the IPad in the magazine pouch on the Atlanta airplane and knew that the cost of this trip was fixing to go up about $700.00. Thank you, Delta. A very nice service agent went back on the plane and retrieved Linda's IPad. Not only did it save me some money, but more importantly, it put me back in Linda's good graces.
Beaches, luaus, whales, black sand beaches, Road to Hana, volcanos, and orchids. This and more awaits us as were begin our drive around Maui. The pictures below are of our condo and views of the lagoon. Join Edith, Linda and myself as we explore Maui.
